چکیده

Collagen-based dressings achieve excellent repair of the skin during metical cosmetology, which has received a lot attention recently. Although great progress been made on using biomass fiber as dressing carrier, more research is required developing novel fibers because limitations (i.e., high cost and complex processing) existing materials. In this study, adsorption behaviors two human-like collagen were studied by examining Kapok that was modified alkali consisting various amounts mass fraction. Results show alkali-modified surface becomes rough with vertically arranged grooves, cross-section depicts hollow cavity structure. The composition analysis shows dissolves part hemicellulose lignin. Additionally, energy rises sharply water contact angle changed from hydrophobic to hydrophilic. amount raw around 0.6 g/g, accounts for only one twenty-first alkali-treated (around 12.6 g/g), while equilibrium not sensitive concentration. kinetics followed both Quasi first second order kinetic model, implying process where characterized physisorption chemisorption. Finally, characterization AKF-2 coupled studies based inter-particle diffusion model showed three-step diffusion, inter-fiber fiber' diffusion. Our results demonstrate perfect absorption performance providing potential application collagen-base dressings.

Characters of Kinetic and Equilibrium of Adsorption of Eu(III) by an Cation Exchange Resin

The sorption and desorption behaviors of Eu(III) from aqueous solutions with cation exchange resins containing carboxyl groups (D155 resin) were studied in terms of varied Eu(III) concentration, adsorbent dosage, pH, contact time and temperature. Batch shaking sorption experiments were carried out to evaluate the performance of D155 resin in the removal of Eu(III) from aqu...

Kinetic, equilibrium and thermodynamic studies of cadmium (II) adsorption by modified agricultural wastes.

Agricultural wastes have great potential for the removal of heavy metal ions from aqueous solution. The contamination of water by toxic heavy metals is a worldwide environmental problem. Unlike organic pollutants, the majority of which are susceptible to biological degradation, heavy metals do not degrade into harmless end products. Discharges containing cadmium, in particular, are strictly con...
